The Days Leading up to Death
It is known that in the days that preceded his passing, Price had meetings in Washington, DC, with representatives of the National Security Agency and the Office of Naval Intelligence, specifically to discuss remote-viewing-themed work he was doing for both of them. From there, Price flew to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he visited with his son for several hours, then took a flight to Las Vegas, Nevada. The purpose was to have a friend safeguard a collection of documents should anything happen to Price while he was in Las Vegas. And if anything did happen, that same friend was to hand the papers over to the people who ran the remote-viewing program on which Price worked. Price arrived in Sin City during the late afternoon of July 13 and caught a cab to the Stardust Hotel. As he approached the desk to check in, Price collided with another man, something that, at the time, Price gave no real thought to. Very soon afterward, however, Price began to feel distinctly unwell. Weirder still, while dining with friends that night, Price announced that on the previous evening, while he was still in DC, someone slipped something into his coffee. That Price saw them doing it, however, led him to avoid drinking from the cup—which was probably very wise of him.
At about 5:00 a.m. the following morning, Price phoned his friend. He (Price) had been feeling ill all night, and things were getting worse: He was having trouble breathing, had cramps throughout much of his back and stomach, and, when the friend arrived, was noticeably perspiring. For an hour or so, Price’s friend debated on whether or not a doctor should be called, but finally decided to go ahead. By this time, however, it was already too late. Price suddenly started to convulse and stopped breathing. Although paramedics were quickly on the scene, it was to no avail: Price’s heart was briefly restarted, but he expired in mere minutes and was formally pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
